Default Tenegui gnomes
These are the little creatures that turn up at seminars and gradings and scuttle off with a prized tenegui. I'm sure I used to have a dark blue one.

This weekend they took my flip-flops [that's happened once before] then returned them on the Sunday. Then they took my bokken tsuba-dome but bizarrely returned my cherished Tsunami dojo tenegui to the bottom of my shinai bag which was MIA since the Bowden.

Do any bogu vendors stock humane traps for them? Little baskets!

Odour is your friend, if they can smell your bag ten feet away they will probably refrain from 'borrowing' anything out of it.

A small mouse trap would be amusing too

Yesterday whilst we were out they struck again. We came home to find our sofa bed missing from the back room. Actually a friend of the family was taking it. Anyway left behind was a tsuba. Not just any tsuba but my 'fancy' tsuba. I say fancy, it is in fact just a plastic one but has a neat little pattern on that I once did a rubbing of to use as the background pattern in a college project. It was really cool as the paper was purple and then I laser printed the pattern onto it and used copper Omnicrom, a heat transfer material taht bonds to toner, on the pattern and white Omnicrom on the text. It was beautiful as all the text on the entire four page document was hand-rendered!

Anyway I've been looking for the tsuba for ten months and they finally gave it back to me, thanks gnomes.

hahaha! I have the car-key goblins at my house. They take the keys off the counter and put them somewhere stupid, like the fridge....
