Hmmm, Goblit of Fire was my favorite when I had first read it, prisoner of Azkaban was pretty good, but for some reason, my favorite right now is the "Half blood prince".
I just wish I could get that "feeling" you used to get when reading it as a kid. I started reading them when I was in 8th grade, and for me, where definitly some of the best books of my life, untill I got older. But they are still great books. |

Well, I bought it the day it came out and I finished it yesterday(im a super nerd). I can't wait until I find out what happens! So, I'll avoid this thread now, until I finish my book and then I'll say what I thought and then read the thread to see what everyone else said(Because I really am curious!), in that order. I don't want to be influenced by what others wrote. Anyway, happy reading to those still reading it! Kaoru |

I heard in the 7th Harry Potter book, Harry has dreams that Hermione dies in illegitimate bastard childbirth, and Voldemort tells him she'll live if he kills everyone in Hogwarts, and then he kills everyone, but Ron Weasley escapes and then chops Harry's legs off and yells "HARRY YOU CHAV YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!" But kudos for combining the two. |

The wife and I finished it last night and really enjoyed it. can't say whether an editor chopping 200 pages out of it would make it any better, I suppose it did drag on but I'd rather have those 200 pages knowing there's not going to be any more. Until the encyclopedia that is.
Funnily enough we had a guy reading it before practice. Can't say I'd have done that myself, a kendo book perhaps, but each to their own they are compelling. |

T&A I couldn't buy it till Tuesday, because I was on a Iaido seminar from Thursday till late Monday. (Passed sankyu on Sunday. ) Was no problem, though, because I had neither radio, TV, internet nor newspaper to spoil the fun. Oh, and I fully agree with dwez! |
