Whoa....what about due process? Even though the NFL Commissioner is a hard-liner, even he has to go through the motions. Otherwise, he ends up with a very highly public lawsuit from the Players Union.
However, if Vick is found guilty in court, then your previous post will probably be more applicable. Don't know Nasty Nate personally, but from the inference you've drawn, I don't want to meet him. |

No sweat....I used to breed Silky Terriers - cross between a Yorkie and an Australian Terrier, officially recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1959. Sweet, affectionate little dogs who don't shed. Their hair comes out like humans' hair, a bit at a time.
Pit bulls in themselves are not dangerous dogs, any more so than Dobermann Pinschers are dangerous. It depends on the treatment of the animal as it's growing up. If you did the same thing to a child as some dogfighting people do, you'd end up with a psychopathic lump of flesh that could either be a serial killer or a violent suicide. Hell, I'm no psychologist, but I do know that we're all a product of our upbringing. I don't shy away from pit bulls just because of their reputation, I just think they're not that attractive a breed. Now, a pretty German Shepherd....or maybe a Rough Collie, yep, I like those dogs, too. A dog pretty much wants to please its owner, but if the owner is abusive, hey, if you get eaten by your dogs, that's a fitting end. |

Hell, I get upset if my cats start looking funny at each other.
Got word today that the Feds have indicted Mike Vick. Given that they usually don't press for indictments unless they're sure they'll win the case, it's doubtful they'll have the same lawyers who prosecuted O.J. Simpson for their prosecutors. Now consider that Nike might want to back away from their endorsements with him, even though there is no formal conviction, sponsors are not bound by "due process" when it comes to their public image. BTW, I've been to bullfights, decided that I didn't need to see another one, and while I understand the culture, I don't necessarily agree with its values. So! University of Waterloo Kendo Tournament this Saturday with godogeiko on Sunday! Ron Hill, I'll be looking for you...... |

I have only heard 1 report & that was about a month ago...it was quite horrible & inhumane. I don't even want to type what i read. Again, these are allegations, but if true, somebody is in trouble......... |
