I know this question has been posted before and I apologize if there is a post currently covering the same topic. But ill post the question anyway , Who are your favorite kendoist and why?
Here are some of mine :

Moriji Mochida :because… well out of all the kendo ive seen nothing compares to his.

Yamaoka Tesshu :because he embodies a mindset that i respect. very much

Living kendoist :
Ota Tadanori sensei: Not only for being an exceptional kendoist but for the great kindness and hospitality he showed towards myself and my family while we where in Tokyo visiting the Keishicho.

Kenishi Ishida
&
Kai Miyamoto: for what their inspiring stories shown in the hachidan documentary

Eiga Naoki: for having very solid and very impressive kendo

Moriji Mochida :The perfect model for kendo

Masahiro Miyazaki: A model for me, i found out about him very recently so i have no particular reasons just that i love his kendo as well as his men strike
