i don't usually eat anything between lunch, at around 12:30 and practice, at 7. sometimes i'll have a small snack, like an orange or something, if i have a light lunch.
on weekends, i will usually have a pb&j sandwich maybe 1-2 hours before kendo. or something of that approximate size. i also try to drink an extra 16-24 oz of water throughout the day before practice. not immediately before -- that would probably end badly. |
