i don't usually eat anything between lunch, at around 12:30 and practice, at 7. sometimes i'll have a small snack, like an orange or something, if i have a light lunch.

on weekends, i will usually have a pb&j sandwich maybe 1-2 hours before kendo. or something of that approximate size.

i also try to drink an extra 16-24 oz of water throughout the day before practice. not immediately before -- that would probably end badly.

I tried drinking Pocari Sweat the other day before keiko. It tastes really similar to the Arctic flavour of Powerade but not as sweet.

When the training is in the morning (8:00) I eat a very soft breakfast, When is in the night (20:00) I eat a short snack like ruffles and natural juice.
