I did a bit of judo (7 years) when I was a kid, aikido for 2 1/2, a bit of Thai boxing for recreation (no competition) for over a year and that's about it. Oh, and a few years (I think 4) of iai.

Praise the Lord. A miracle has occurred. An Iaido guy has seen the light! Halleluyah!
And now you will feel what it is to sweat while you practice.
Halleluyah!

I invite you to come to one of our Iai practises, I BET you are going to sweat, and a lot.

Turning the thermostat on 30 degrees doesn't count. You Germans have ways to make us sweat but not from waving a sword in thin air. Having that constipated serious look all the time doesn't count as hard practice as well.

This was a joke. Now we wait for pictures of this holy miracle.

Just because I'm German doesn't mean you have to add such a disclaimer... Seriously, the only time I didn't sweat was on a seminar led by a Dutch iaidoka...

And NO, I don't suffer from hyperhidrosis!

I'm a civil servant.... we don't sweat. Sweating and work are considered dirty words at my department
