At the end of 2006 they had $469,499 per the tax statement. Dues for 2007 would add $150,000 or more. Anyone know? |

Anybody have any idea why so much money is being built up in the AUSKF? I have not heard of any long term plan or purpose for this amount of money. Even with the $100-150k USD needed to field a US kendo team every 3 years for the WKC, I don't understand why the federation board is building up such a large bank account. As to the team I am one of those that thinks the team should be fully funded. It is too much to ask amateurs to put in all the time and then expect them to pay their way as well. |

in australia we get nothing plus we have to pay to go to squad training in different states,and if you are in western australia like me it cost $500-700 to travel to each squad then you got the cost of going to the wkc if you actual get in the team. |
