Seems that what we do, by definition, is "semi-contact":

Besides in other sports, you don't have the situation where a tiny person is up against someone tall and/or big... |

I guess you never saw our brave English rubgy Union team play the man-mountainous All Blacks. It may have been my eyes deceiving me but I think out tallest player only managed to stand waist-high to their players. The English tend to be taller (genetics) and stronger (training) and the All Blacks tend to be shorter (genetics...except for those of western origin) and more powerful (training). So you can choose to be hit by a barn door swinging open (England) or a stable door slammed shut (All Blacks)! |
