I received 139 spams today, so I'm a little sensitive about spam factories like twitter or facebook

Holy COW.... Don't you have a junk mail box on your e-mail so it will go all in one spot so you can delete it quickly? You can also block them so you don't get the same crap back. It has reduced my junk mail significantly. Norton Antivirus also has a spam control you can get. I've got both. Unless you are using an online mail service that is...

My Yahoo! box I have to keep up with by reporting the little spam I get each day or I get spammed a LOT. Don't ever just delete it.

You could always set up more than one e-mail so you can use one for one thing and the other for personal stuff. I did that, and that helps too.

Sorry you got spammed like that! What a bummer...

It seems that somebody cracked a forum were I registered and sold my e-mail to a freaking lot of spammers. So my former not-junk mail box turned into a big ugly mess: nigerian scams, good old viagra and enlarge your breasts/penis ads, tasty free porn websites, ads for free social websites (MSN, Facebook, Myspace, Youtube) etc ...

With all the free gifts: trojan, spywares, worms and other viruses... Linux saved the day. BTW, Norton is a virus in my classification: slows down a lot the system, impossible to uninstall.

I have a friend that has a twitter... he has like 30 suscriptors that everyday reads this kind of stuff:

9:30 wensday: Im in the bathroom
9:43 wensday: Im out the bathroom and its smelly
10:03 wensday: I think im gonna have breakfast now...

as you can see, its very interesting... ¬¬

You almost have to physically tear it off your system.

Don't know what twitter is but i'm on facebook... and yes, the emails are a tad annoying but i don't get many. Not half as much as I get into my forum admin email "textual confirmation" jobs telling me that another bot tried and failed.

Could you forward me the penis enlargement emails... my, friend is interested....
