Default Curious about the new show Deadliest Warrior
A recent show on Spike television called Deadliest Warriors takes warriors from different eras and fighting styles and recreates a mock battle between the warriors. The recent show was about a samurai and a viking. The host showed weapons used by both warriors and only showed the power of the and the efficiency of the weapons. The show did not really portray the techniques of either warrior. In the show, the samurai prevailed. How well do you think the samurai would perform when facing other warriors (firearms excluded, of course)?

I don't think being a samurai, knight, viking or anything else would make a difference. Whoever happens to be the better fighter at the time would win regardless or what label you attach to him.

I found this on oh so wonderfull youtube, I mean:WTF!!!

Although I find the fact that they are wasting food like this rather distastefull, I still wonder how deap the cut would go if they would use proper cutting technique instead of using it like a broad sword.
