The ones on this forum I know are from the Venice/padua region and Rome. No one lives in the Aquila region.

Guys, check in...

Every time there is a disaster or some tosser blows up public transportation, we always check on our budo buddies first.

Kudos (and +rep) for caring, guys.

Wish best for everyone in Italy! Hopefully no one was lost in kendoka community, their friends, or family! Natural tragedies like this are never easy, but wish the best to everyone as they rebuild and come together as a community! Condulences to those that lost family or friends. Hang in there guys and gals!!!!

Agreed - it's funny how we show concern for people that we know only as a screen name, but a lucky few of us can put a face to a name. I hope everyone is okay.

Everybody is ok.
Also because as far as I know there is no kendo in the region hit by the earthquake (but, I have to say, pretty good rugby).
I only know of a friend who's trying to raise something up in Pescara, a city located on the the adriatric seaside; close to the epicenter but not enough to end up involved in the devastations.

That's it. Thanks again.
