I can potentially say that I held the title for best men strike of 2009, if only for a little while

Last night a group of us went to kendo in the middle of the night, so that we could have the dubious honour of being the first people in the world to do kendo in 2009. It was fun! May well become my new tradition on New Years Eve.

Location: Auckland New zealand, unless anyone trained in the Chatham Islands, I think we have the title, what a great distinction!!

Anybody else crazy enough to train on New Years midnight, when everyone else is out setting off fireworks and getting boozy? How did your trainings go? I hope everybody had a great and safe New Years 2009 (even if it hasn't happened yet for you...

We're training 6 AM (cuz technically its still New Year's Eve, haha)
