Looks like Star Trek meets Fast and the Furious. I'm not sure if that's jumping the shark or actually a really good idea.

Shatner's hilarious.

I think he's one of those actors that isn't acting. He really is just himself in those Priceline commercials and on Boston Legal and in Star Trek.

Nice link.

'twas no point in having Shatner in the movie... the only time you'll see Leonard Nimoy in the movie is in the beginning, when he's in one of his reflective moods. Kirk's already dead and buried on Valerian III or wherever he & Picard tangled with Soran (Star Trek:Generations). Spock's a diplomat in wherever passes as the United Federation of Planets' diplomatic headquarters in the 24th Century.

So, no "open the pod bay doors, HAL" for you, too, eh?

Q: How do you say: "Suddenly I feel very old" in Klingon?

A: You Don't!
Age is a weakness!
Better to die in glorious battle than to die a old coward sniveling in his bed!

~Klingon Proverb

..or, something I just made up.

I'm thinking this movie will end up being like most Hollywood movies these days.

Oooh....yeah, now I remember. I don't pick up NBC at all with my rabbit eared TV... but I've been renting the Heroes Season One DVD's from Netflix because my friends have been talking about the show!

Thanks for the reply, Dervish-san!

Actually, I'm more of a Star Wars fan than Star Trek, but I simply cannot resist anything with spaceships!

Must be a subliminal thing...
