I have some kendo armour I have hardly used as I now hate the sport, through no ones fault, I just hate it now. I paid £500 for it getting it imported from korea. Our sensei knew they company so they lied about value of parcel or I would of payed £1000 and gave it to me cheaper. I really want to sell my armour and use the money to learn guitar.

First stop ask your sensei if he knows anyone at your club who might be in the market for new armour. If he helped you get it he can vouch for it's quality and value and ensure you get the return you are after. Next stop the BKA's website and then if you've no joy it's ebay. Hopefully you should still have all your measurement details so ensure all this information is included in your listing. Of course if you're 7 foot tall and weigh 25 stone you may find it difficult to get a buyer but if your an 'average Joe' you may get a taker.
£500 for 2nd hand bogu may be wishful thinking though. You can get an awful lot for that money brand new and sight unseen, from pictures only is quite a challenge. If you can get a link for the Korean vendors website so folks can see where it was manufactured and what it would cost brand new. Good luck with it. |
