So I had my last class at my dojo in Massachusetts last night; move to California tomorrow. Really appreciated everyone there, particularly my sensei, and had a fun sushi + sake party afterwards. Sad to leave but grateful for the last couple years.

Btw, I stuck my shinai in my golf bag, I'm assuming that will work fine for checked luggage. No one's had problems with checking luggage with bogu right? I can't imagine what could happen to it, I suppose technically they could crush it in the cargo and break the doh but other than that it seems pretty indestructible, right? I've checked wine bottles and they came out fine so I'm not particularly worried....
