I still don't like his doh. As an aside, what does "hatsugeiko" mean? Hatsugeiko means "first keiko of the year." In this case it was a big event held at the start of January where a couple of hundred schoolkids did kihon with the sensei, followed by kendo kata, iaido and jodo demonstrations and some model shiai. |

Thanks. My sensei calls that "keiko hajime", maybe he's just simplifying for us. FWIW, in the Yagyu-kai, we use "keiko hajime". |
