Default Miyazawa sensei
Miyazawa Sensei hachidan hanshi from the Miyagi prefecture passed away the 9 November 2009. He was 61 years old.

After graduating from Kogota nourin high school and then Kokushikan University, he became a teacher and coached during 15 years at his mother high school. During these 15 years, they went to the InterHigh 15 times.

I had the chance to have keiko with him a few times, he was extremely strong...
In 2006 he was the main judge at the table during my 3rd dan exam. After passing (with some luck) he gave me a shinai, which I'm keeping for doing my 4th dan exam.

Except for meeting him here and there a few times I did not know him very well. I heard that he was extremely scary when he was a high school coach.,, But most of the memories I have from this man are good ones.
