Awesome!

Would hate to be on the receiving end of his tai-atari, though...

That's very cool!
Had someone like that in the aikido dojo that I went to long ago. One of the instructors used to take great delight in tossing him around.

Paul, That wasn't at Sensei Vince Tamura school was it. I used to practice fairly regularly with a guy that was an ex Atlanta Falcon. Cant remember his name, but i remember trying to throw him.

No, it was at Bill Sosa's dojo in Oak Cliff. However, I'm pretty sure it was the same fellow as he said he was also doing judo, which Tamura sensei was teaching in Dallas at that time.

I took several seminars from Sosa Sensei. I dont thing i have ever met anyone the exuded more peaceful vibes. He was an awesome guy. Peaceful yet he could throw you across a room, Must respect both disciplines. I also loved wathcing one of his students. She was a very dumure 50 lb woman named Lynn Fabia....... Also threw me across a room. Very delightful persons to know.
