Default If you lived at the time of the Civil War Era,..... Which one of 武将 would you be?
Here are haiku that tell you their characters.

Oda Nobunaga
If a bird doesn't sing, kill it.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi
If a bird doesn't sing, I'll make it to sing.

Tokugawa Ieyasu
If a bird doesn't sing, I'll wait until it sings.

I think my character is in between Hideyoshi & Ieyasu.
Probably, more similar to Ieyasu type.

I'd like to make it sing, but I guess I'd prefer to wait until it sings. But honestly, I think Ieyasu was very lucky that Hideyoshi died before he could raise his successor properly.

Transient is life,
As snow in a microwave,
So cold then so gone.

Somehow that reminds me Matsuo Basho's haiku

I want to be a farmer and here is my haiku:

If I don't grow rice
you'll be dead of hunger.

That'll be no problem!!
I think many people like Date Masamune too.
I tried to find his bird haiku and found this by web.

If a bird doesn't sing, that would be alright then.

I found some but those are written in Japanese, this is the only one in English.

I'd like to know about which one of busho types is the highest % of kendo-ka living out side of Japan.
So if you don't mind, could you simply answer my question?

Also it's been very fun to see your own haiku (俳句)and senryu(川柳).
