Revealed in this week's Dengeki Playstation magazine, an anime adaptation of Compile Heart’s RPG series, "Hyperdimension Neptunia," has been green-lit for production. No other details about the anime adaptation has been released thus far. The series just recently had a third installment in the video game series released in Japan on August 30th along with already having a manga adaptation that is serialized in the online manga site, "Famitsu Comic Clear," that made it's debut on November 12th, 2010.

Synopsis: A parallel world protected by four goddesses, who are engaged in a war with one another in Celestia. Meanwhile on the human world, mankind wages war with monsters unleashed by a being named Arfoire. The tome, Histoire, contains the knowledge of the past necessary to end both wars and shape the future. What fate awaits Neptune in the present?
