Default Wafl tips round 20
SUBIACO vs PERTH @ Leederville

With Subi's in's and the fact Perth probably dont have a realistic chance of playing finals, Subi should win this game & win it well. They will be in the four regardless of what happens at the other game and they know if they keep on track, they will be playing finals. Perth let another chance slip after a great win the previous week. This seems to be a continous problem for the Demons. Could be a competitive game, but I see the Lions winning well here.

SUBIACO to win by 40 points

WEST PERTH vs SOUTH FREMANTLE @ Joondalup.

This is a huge game and WP have had the wood over Souths this year. But I see Souths as a big chance to get one back against the Cardies. They really pushed WP at Fremantle Oval last time and Wilson had a day out at Full Forward. The Falcons still have heaps to play for wanting a home final against the Tigers, but its probably not the be all & end all for them. Souths hit a low patch recently without playing bad football, and they did have to work hard last week to beat Perth. But I sense they may cause an upset here and make both Subi & East Freo have to work for a finals spot.

SOUTH FREMANTLE to win by 9 points

CLAREMONT vs WILLIAMSTOWN (FOXTEL CUP) at Subiaco Oval.

This would have been an ideal curtain raiser to one of the above WAFL games and had a hell of alot more atmosphere. But as the name says (Foxtel) its only about ratings, not crowds. Pretty piss poor in my opinion. This is a showcase concept and a shame its being played at the atmosphere"less" concrete jungle at subi. The claps will be echoing all around the stadium.... But the AFL have announced it is now a 5-year concept and will be a regular fixture. I think Claremont can get up here and win the $40,000 prizemoney. Good luck to them.

CLAREMONT to win by 15 points

Subi by 50 points - Look almost a certainty for 3rd spot & a home final with their run home a superior %...with Perth’s season shot, expect them to roll over & take it up the proverbial...Subi by how much(sorry Perth guys)

South by 1 point (Wilson to kick the winning goal after the siren) - huge game this WP coming off the bye & almost guaranteed of a home 2nd Semi, reckon that might just take this one abit easier...should be a good game & South blooding some more youngsters which is great to see...

Fancy Perth tomorrow.......they match up well against Subi man for man and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they won tomorrow and even all their remaining games. If they do that they will scrape in by the slimmest of margins.....that win over Cl may of have been the sealer.....but its a big if.......Subi look better on paper, but not too sure how productive Crowley will be....he can't qualify for finals footy and I reckon with Munday back soon his spot with Freo will be gone.....as for Anthony, he has been treated pretty poorly by Harves et al.....the guy got no service last weekend in deplorable conditions and he gets dropped.....christ Mayne and Johnson have been average all year and still get games.

WP v SF should be a good contest, saying that WP will be keen to get back to their winning ways....SF will be desperate and it's great that Dimmer is promoting the youngsters......good luck to those two new boys on their debuts......WP for me....it's a case me wanting both WP and Perth to win......not necessarily confident they will though.
