The premiership race is wide open. Probably as open as it has been for 10 years, I can see any of the current top 4 sides winning it.

What a game at Joondy in a few weeks (WP v CL).... No Eagles or Dockers to contend with either. This is where the WAFL should be promoting this comp bigtime. Instead of the absolute "NOTHING" we have right now.

This game should get over 5,000 - but probably wont because of the zero approach to promotion.

20 years ago this would have got over 20,000 at a packed out Leederville. They would be hanging from the trees. Back then the media promoted it naturally.

Must admit Souths have surprised me. I thought they were too old and too slow and when they lost Jamie Graham i thought "they're gone". That Ryan Cook they picked up from Collingwood impressed me in the state game. Now EF look the side most vulnerable to those of us outside the four. EF have played one more game than the rest so potentially they are just one game ahead of Subi and Perth.
Anyone discounting the bullfrogs are forgetting one vital factor. IMO, still the best all round Coach in the competition - John Dimmer.
