Default Leonora Detention Centre (Video)
On Tuesday the 25th of May 2010 it was announced that an asylum seeker detention centre is to be built in the mining town of Leonora on the Goldfields of Western Australia. Nobody in the town apart from the landowner who is set to make a mint out of the deal and the local shire were consulted.

The rest of the time rural Australia is totally ignored but with an election looming Kevin Rudd has decided to hide his mistakes from city voters by lumbering rural Australians with his mistakes. It is a case of out of sight out of mind. It is something that rural and remote Australians will not forget!

Duration - 4 minutes 4 seconds
File Size - 4.95mb
Release Date - May 27, 2010.

It seemed rural WA was one of the last states to avoid 'outback refos' after vic/nsw/qld but apparently some sudanese are settled in geraldton and now this? Hopefully the boongs will take care of them

It also looks like the only thing the WA premier was upset about was the fact KRudd had not gone to him first.

I very much doubt the good folk of a WA outback town ie. not including the rich FIFO workers but the people who settle there would want these refugees arriving there.

Yet here we see the local mayor? saying the people are happy including the abbos. Why would the abbos be happy? refo's are a rival group to them for handouts, do gooder attention etc.

You need to contact Australia First and ask them about doing something on a local level. That way they take the flak for any blow back.

You can't accuse Chairman KRudd of not sharing, he wants all Australians no matter where they live and how much they despise multiculturalism to 'enjoy' the multiracial mess that the governments of the last fifty years have created.
