Good episode, I'm now convinced that they're using the vertical integration method, buying the metal companies so they can reduce their overheads and thus make a larger profit. And yes, once they have a monopoly on metal there is nothing to stop them from cranking up the price of their finished goods and claiming the "rising costs of metal" or some other BS.

Mate that is great. While many of us are running around seeing Muslim Terrorists at every corner Asia is invading us. I think a good follow up would be the Defense Ministers relationship with the Chinese Government. On the QLD News tonight the New Labor Government had a traditional Chinese opening at Government House. No kidding. Anna Bligh even thanked them in Chinese.

Good idea, I might be able to squeeze two out during my two days off. I was working on one before this one which is focused on the amount of people getting the punt from their jobs while Chairman KRudd will still allow over 185,000 coolies into the country over the course of the year. Even today I heard on the radio the lie of a skills shortage shortly before it was announced that 400 people are to get the sack from BankWest.

BTW, as I predicted in this video it looks like the sale of Oz Minerals to the Chinese government owned Minmetals will go ahead. The Prominent Hill mine will more than likely be sold to BHP.

As of today, the Queensland Government has every thing on the table and up for sale.
they use tax payer dollars to buy it, then sell it to cover their asses.

That's socialists for you.

I think this alone would be gold. Using something along the lines of "they take us up the arse and we thank them for it, how Orwellian can you get?" right before a government minister thanks them in Chinese.
