Default Australia Calling: we are not sorry
NO, MR RUDD, WE ARE NOT SORRY
AUSTRALIA CALLING
(2/19/08) Media surveys have found that the majority of Australians oppose Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's apology to the so-called 'stolen generation' of Aborigines.

I've just downloaded it, and had a listen. An excellent show. Derrick did make mention of some 9-11 theories that may be offered up at a later date...any idea of the time frame?

Anyhow, it was a terrific broadcast for all us "thrillseeker's" out here.

If it's the Government doing the apologising (which KRudd has now claimed; as opposed to on behalf of the Australian people), why don't they (politicians) fund the "compensation"? After all, he has made pollies take a pay-cut... Surely there's enough in the Government coffers to manage it without bankrupting the nation... Oh, right - there's not a quid to be made in that scenario.
Wankers, the lot of 'em.
