If you want political music go Fortress in particular the song The End of My Race which is on the Into Legend album. Then again maybe they are 'too' heavy for you but that song for me sums it all up in one big crashing left hook followed by a totally rib smashing right rip.

Rammstein is a great band. German poetry if you didn't know. I like their song 'Stripped', it is one of their few songs done in English. As a mainstream band their message is quite in-your-face about how crap society is at the moment compared to their contemporaries.
