Default nba officiating
has just entered a whole new world of jokedom. that is beyond absurd and those refs shouldn't even be allowed to ref a d league game.

So what happened for those of us not watching the David Stern "Fix it" show?

C'mon rot, you KNOW the NBA is completely on the "up and up"

The idea that Stern and the Networks would want, I don't know, LeBron and Kobe in the finals is just silly!

they called a flagrant foul on a guy driving to the basket who was fouled.

I'll say this, IF somehow, someway that the Finals are Denver vs Orlando, I will NEVER, EVER say the NBA is fixed.

But I dont think I will have to worry about that.

I'm sure Stern has instructed the referees to do whatever is necessary to get the Kobe/Bron matchup for the finals.

I hope someday the NBA becomes a real sport again so I can be as interested in it as I used to be.

As it is, I'd say there's more "real" sport in a WWE match right now.

Im no personal barometer, but Ive watched a CRAP load more NHL Playoffs than that of the NBA Playoffs.

When the most entertaining thing about the NBA Playoffs is Barkley going off on the Lakers for sleepwalking through the playoffs, that s not good.

Barkley had to have gotten a call from the Home Office on that little blast.

it's 'amazing' how the nba and nhl mirror each other.

The best team in the league going against the "best player" in the league two years in a row? I have no idea what you are talking about!

Jeez, this predates Stern.

As a Bucks fan I remember Dave Cowens molesting Karreem so much in the 74 finals that I think they may have visited a judge afterwards to make it official.

Of course when Kareem got within a whisper of anyone, it was a foul.

Naturally once Jabbar got to LA, the NBA turned things in his favor.

and Michael Jordan never traveled or carried the ball.

I uttered those exact sentiments more than a few times.

Good god I've been watching this game for 5 minutes and it's just one enormous bitchfest. The players and the fans are complaining after everything, just horrible.

Clean block there by Howard, called a foul. Must be good to get the calls if you're King James.

What can you expect from the National Betting Association?

Wanting that and ordering it to be done are 2 very different things.

I believe that one ref bet on games.
and many of them are gamblers.

and many of them got in trouble with the IRS.

Remember that the mob won't get guys to decide winners and losers, just to shave points. Players, coaches, and refs. A certain percentage are always vulnerable.

The officiating in tonights game was absolutly horrible. Me being a Cavs fan may cause you to think that i am just whining because they lost, but there were horrible calls made on Orlando aswell. The flagrant shouldnt have been a flagrant. It wasnt intentional, just a physical play, and Dwight Howards 6th foul was a clean block. (Just to name a few) On the Cavs side though, if they slightly touched someone it was a foul. And when Mo Williams gets run over from behind, it is a foul on him. I am surprised the Cavs didnt get any more technicals.

They need to let the teams play. Dont let the officiating decide the outcome. (Even though it always will)
