Pau Gasol may be coming back in limited action around the end of December. My league has an extremely short bench, so he's a FA. When do you recommend taking a chance, eating a roster spot, and picking this guy up?

I'm in 8 leagues, but this team is my favorite so far.

From the Dolphins Fans League, Head to Head:

Gilbert Arenas
Steve Nash
Kirk Hinrich
Rafer Alston
Deron Williams
Mike Miller
Rudy Gay
Danny Granger
Lamar Odom
Dwight Howard
Pau Gasol
David West
Emeka Okafor
Darko Milicic
Memo Okur
Chris Wilcox

Thoughts?
Very nice, Nova. I'll post one of my squads in a second.

Last pick of the first round. I think a couple of geniuses grabbed Amare and Duncan ahead of me.
And Dwight and Lamar were still there for the return trip around? How many teams in the league?

My fantasy NBA team is called the "Slum Village Slammers":

PG: Tony Parker
PG: Steve Nash
SG: Richard Hamilton
SG: Kobe Bryant
G: Ben Gordon
SF: Hakim Warrick
SF: Mike Miller
PF: Mehmet Okur
PF: Dwight Howard
F: Mike Dunleavy
C: Chris Kaman
C: Shaquille O'Neal
Util: Darko Milicic
Util: Zach Randolph
Bench: Jamal Crawford
Bench: Tayshaun Prince
Bench: Channing Frye
Bench: Brevin Knight
Bench: Andre Miller

Now at the end of this season if I don't win this fantasy, I think I'll lose my mind, LOL.

Honestly, I still have no idea. I was upset that I couldn't get JKidd, but I think my PG's are good enough.

Besides, I have other players that can load up the stat sheet kinda like JKidd so its still a win-win for me.

My only team, (10 owners) --

PG - G. Arenas
SG - M. Redd
G - A. Iguodala
PF - E. Brand
SF - H. Warrick
F - Z. Randolph
C - M. Camby
Util - B. Knight
BN - W. Szczerbiak
BN - L. Deng
BN - E. Curry

This is only my second year of doing this, so I'm still not really sure how to judge my draft. Last year I was lucky, and ended up with LeBron. This year I got the 9 pick.

Hmm, I'm not so sure. But by looking at your roster, the only player I can see you swapping is W. Szczerbiak off the bench for Pau Gasol.

Even though Gasol will see some limited action, IMO he's good for a couple of double-doubles to begin with.

And doesn't W. Szczerbiak come off the bench for the Celtics?

He starts, but he's been hurt the last two games, and might come back by Friday. You're right though, Wally might just be my worst player.

He averages 19.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 2.2 turnovers, 1.6 3PT

Celtics are supposedly going to start getting Gerald Green some serious minutes, which could hurt Wally's scoring even when he is healthy.

Not surprisingly, the panel is thus far devoid of thought.

One game out of first. I have since dropped H.Warrick for A.Miller and E.Curry for A.Bynum

How's everyone elses teams doing?

Miller wasn't drafted/dropped? Not bad at all. I was lucky enough to be able to pick up Deron Williams after the draft in my one league. I'm in first in the two leagues I'm in (one roto, one hth)

Yeah, thankfully I was second on the waiver wire. I gotta watch Randolph's injury now. I'm thinking about dropping Bynum for another PF. Supposedly his minutes are going down because other LA bigs are getting healthy.

It's something I'll watch for this week.

Well as it always seems with me in fantasy sports, I draft arguably the best team in the fantasy league then a couple of my key players wind up getting hurt.

(Shaq, Channing Frye, Bobby Simmons)

So far I'm in the middle of the pack.

H. Warrick is a nice pickup, I drafted him in the later rounds (huge steal!) and I have Andre Miller as a utility/PG for my squad as well.

Yeah just by looking at your squad again, it might be good enough that you just stand pat with the lineup you have now. Of course we cannot forecast when someone's gonna get hurt/suspended, but I think your squad should be nice for the season.

Besides, Curry is having a most improved player of the year type numbers.

My NBA fantasy squad wrap-up for the 2006-2007 season;

League - Da RPNBA

Team - Slum Village Slammers - finished 2nd in the season, won league championship 10-2

League - Animaltrout H2H

Team - D-Town Ballers - finished 7th place.
I pulled a Detroit Pistons with this squad; arguably I had the best players at every position (Shaq, Rip Hamilton, JKidd, Josh Smith, Ben Gordon, and Chris Bosh.) and I ended up losing in the semifinal for 7th place.

League - Bad Boys II

Team - D-Town Throwdown - 3rd place finish

Overall I had some highs and lows this fantasy season. At least I did win one championship though.
