If you were a hoops fan in the 90's and early 00's that video has to give you goosebumps all up and down your body. Man, although I tend to believe CBS has the best coverage of sporting events, nothing, EVER, beats NBA on NBC. Between Bob Costas and Marv Albert you could get enjoy watching the Hawks play the Warriors. ABC, not only has shitty golf coverage, but this NBA deal with ESPN blows, ill take NBC any fucking day of the week. Not only are those plays amazing, the announcing and calls are so memorable, it blows watching some of these dumbfucks like Musberger, Jackson, Tirico, and Breen only to fall asleep during a Suns/Mavericks game.
You said it StL, that was an awesome period of time.

And I am just sick of the every week LA-Phoenix-Dallas-Houston carousel. You know there are other teams in the league besides those four. Honestly, I would not mind seeing Atlanta face Portland or Golden State play Charlotte. Because those squads have some players on their teams that the NBA is banking their future on.

And the heck with buying an NBA TV package, I wish NBC were broadcasting NBA games again. That's why whenever a Pistons game is on ABC or ESPN, I turn it to either my local Detroit station or my Fox Sports Detroit station. I think everyone knows I cannot stand Bill "Throw it dow-n-n-n-n-n, big man!" Walton.

Basketball in the 80's and 90's was so drastically different than today. I look back, and as a kid i couldn't wait for hoops season, stayin up late watching games, i loved so many players -- MJ, Byrd, Olajawon, Wilkins, Barkley, Kemp (before he got fat), Magic, Stockton, etc.

Now I don't even watch the post season. It saddens me.

It makes me upset that the NBA is so careful with some of their stars/moneymakers. I understand its a business, but come on now.

I remember when Jordan used to get his a$$ whooped night after night before the Bulls became an outstanding team. If you handcheck Lebron or D-Wade, you're most likely ejected from the game.

No east coast bias in the NBA.
