IF it had been the NBA poster boy Tim Duncan under that pile getting piled on by Dirk and Stackhouse and he has a reaction like Terry did and he hit Dirk in the nuts he'd be playing in game 6..

You homers out there that say HEY MAN THE LEAGUE DID IT TO RAJA AND ARTEST SO ITS FAIR are just that.. Homers.. It was a reaction if anything not an intentional wind up and punch with the intent of actually BEING a punch. Dude was on the ground and guys were piling on top of him. Natural reaction...
if your at a bar.

Now I've seen it all Pnk -- you can't possibly believe that. They suspended Kobe earlier in the season for 2 games for getting Mike Miller in the face. They wouldn't have let him play.
him bragging about it after the game didn't help his cause.

I wish basketball would go back to those days -- fun to watch.
80's-early 90's basketball >>>>> basketball of today.

I tend to think sometimes the WNBA has more balls than the NBA.

(I don't know if I meant to intend a pun there or not! Oh well.....)

They don't suspend people for what they say -- fines, sure, but I don't think there has been a situation where they've suspended a player for talking shit. The suspension was because of the elbow.

i can and do

i dont see stern benching a west coast star in playoffs
For a clothesline like that? There was no way any player who did it wouldn't have been suspended. I don't care if it was Wilt reincarnated or MJ himself. A play like that in this age of the NBA is getting the player put on the bench.
