Big Mavs fan here. Sucks Terry got suspended but he deserved it. It's hard to argue against that

Dirk will have to have an out-of-this world-type game (Triple-double), Duncan have to get into ealrty foul trouble, and Manu has to struggle for the Mavs to close it out tonight.

My pick; Spurs will win, TP will go off for about 25 and 10 dimes at least.

Do you ever actually watch the mavs or just talk out of your butt? Mavs have the deepest bench in the playoffs. It will be tougher but they will be fine.

One of two things will happen. Our defensive specialist griffith will start and help shut down parker. Or marquis daniels aka kobe jr will start at sg. Daniels is a driver and will help draw fouls on the spurs, rather than the jump shots that terry takes. Daniels when given the chance has always shined. He started one playoff game this year and did pretty dang good.

He also in previous years playoffs has done great as well. He isn't a consitentp player getting minutes but when he starts he's good. You will see tonight.

No need to throw personal barbs Hof...

It's HIS opinion. He's allowed.

You are starting to show your nervousness...

I don't blame you.

Terry has made a HUGE mistake. VERY VERY stupid on his part....

When they come on TV, yes I do. Marquis Daniels is good, but not Kobe good. Marquis IMO is better than Kobe on defense. Kobe is on the NBA's defensive team, but I think a lot of that comes from the refs helping him out.

I don't have a problem with Jason Terry being suspended if the NBA would just be consistent with punishment. But since they haven't, it irks me that he was suspended for a game. No way that his act deserves the same punishment as Raja Bell's clothesline of Bryant. No way that he deserves more of a punishment than Reggie Evans "touching."

It makes me sad that after a great playoffs, all people will be talking about is the officiating and the way the league handled player suspensions.

Officiating the good and the bad is overrated....

It wasn't meant as a personal insult. But anyone that has watched the mavs know their bench is deep. Will their be a drop off in talent? Yes, but nothing that can't be overcome. To just write them off for this is crazy.

And yes daniels plays defense better than kobe(and jet for that matter) but I only call him kobe jr because he plays offense like him when he drives the lane. Whether or not those shots fall are a different story. I tend to think he will start griffith just so daniels and stackhouse will be a good spark off the bench. And also to see is griffith or griffin can control tony parker.

If he can and then howard can then more easily control manu. They are back to the one man tea they were in the first 3 games.

I won't be talking about it either, but a lot of casual fans are using the shady officiating and shady decisions on player suspensions to justify not watching more. This is the sort of playoffs that should bring those sitting on the fence over to the side of seeing how exciting the NBA is right now with all the young stars and stars in their prime. But it won't work out that way. That makes me sad.

This ruling= Hi we're the NBA and we dont like Mark Cuban and the last thing we want is to see David Stern handing that trophy to Cuban in 6 weeks.

Complete bullshit.

throwing a punch is a suspension. i don't see where the inconsistency is. artest got suspended, bell got suspended, terry got suspended. evans didn't throw a punch, elbow a guy, or take a guy down.
