Default NBA version of my NFL rankings
As most of you know, I have a spreadsheet that calculates the NFL rankings every week. It's a complex formula that's pretty accurate (Got 12 of 12 playoff teams last year). I would like to create a similar formula for the NBA rankings, but I am not as knowledgable about NBA stats as I am NFL stats.

What I'd like to know from you guys are what you think the important statistics are. Some of the ones I planned on automatically include:

Wins (Separated by conference, division, non-conference)
Margin of victory
Rebounds
Turnovers
Field Goal %
3 point %
Free Throw %

What can I add? What other statistics are very telling as to how good a team is?
