Whatever is said about Iverson is his own fault. He is and always will be a thug from the streets. His money has kept him out of trouble in the past. As it will in the future. He is one of the many reasons I refuse to watch the NBA. I was a big fan a long time ago. Back when it was a team game. Give me college hoops anytime.
The Olympics should be for college players or a HS kid, not the proffessional jerks. |

Iverson is given too hard of a time IMO. Granted, he may make stupid comments about practice and doesn't like showing up to them, but he is one of the most entertaining players in the game and easily one of the 5 hardest competitors. When he is in a game he doesn't take one second off on both sides of the floor. I'd much rather watch that than see a slacker who shows up for practice.

This team has absolutely no chemistry. You can have all of the talent in the world (which we basically do have), but they all refuse to play as a team but as individuals out there. You would think that they have proved enough in the NBA, but they are playing against other countries like they have something to prove.

I also can't stand watching the Shaq's and Kobe's in the NBA but you have to remember that there are also Duncan's and Garnett's there too. |
