Default Kobe = MVP
Unofficial, but that's what's been released. http://www.tsn.ca/nba/story/?id=2366...=secStory_main LOS ANGELES - Kobe Bryant has won the NBA's MVP award for the very first time, the Los Angeles Times reported on its Site Friday evening, stating unknown sources acquainted with the end result voting by press people. The paper noted that commissioner David Stern will soon be in La in a few days to present the prize to Bryant. "We haven't been told such a thing by the league," Lakers spokesman John Black told The Associated Press. Bryant, who entered the season as the league's two-time protecting rating champ, had third in the MVP voting twice - after the 2002-03 plan, when he averaged 30 points for the very first time, and again last season, when Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki won the honor.
