Kemp apparently wants to play baseball in Italian category ESPN.com information solutions Updated: August 17, 2008, 6:14 PM ET A familiar face will be seen by them, if more recent people flee the NBA for Europe. The Italian team Premiata Montegranaro introduced on Sunday that 38-year-old Shawn Kemp has decided to perform for the team beginning in November. "I am pleased that a person that's created baseball background might arrived at Montegranaro," instructor Alessandro Finelli said. Finelli thought that the six-time NBA All-Star might still lead. "He is extremely motivated," Finelli said. "And he's been remaining in shape to exhibit up at our camp in great shape." Kemp averaged 14.6 factors and 8.4 rebounds more than 14 NBA seasons. He enjoyed eight years with Seattle, three with Cleveland, two with Portland and completed with one period in Orlando. Finelli didn't know, nevertheless, if Kemp will be the key to the growing season for the Premiata, which plays in the most truly effective section of Italian baseball. "We will learn with work in the fitness center if he'll be considered a important person for the team," Finelli said. "Now, it's too early to express that." Kemp has flirted with trying a return in the NBA often since his last period in the category, exercising for several of groups although not sticking with some of them.
