Damn.. this sucks. I like Q-Rich, he was one of my vital choices in the Fantasy Draft.
The man is one of the best 3 shooters in the league and can tear down boards like nobodys buisness, and he's not that tall either. If New York gets the pick then they definitely got one hell of a trade out of this deal, I'm not a big fan of Thomas at all. Or the Knicks for that matter.. haha. Should be an interesting summer trading season if theres a trade taking place before the palyoffs are even over. Later oN *...SlasH...* |

I think it makes sense for Phoenix. I think that Thomas gives them a defensive presence on the inside (which they lacked all year). And while Q broke the record for most 3-pointers made, when it came to crunch time (the conference finals), he made only nine of twenty-four 3 point attempts. Granted, it was his first time in primetime playoff competition (what with playing for the Clippers and all). But as much as his loss hurts, the Suns still have Jimmy Jackson (who I feel brings more to the table defensively), an up and coming Leandro Barbosa to go along with Kurt Thomas and a future first round draft choice ( and with the current sate of the Knicks, you would have to assume that it will be a top 15 pick). After they re-sign JJ and Amare, they should be just as good next season.
