I think in the next couple of games though, you'll see more Kobe in Shaq though, plus Phil will chew their ass off if they keep doing what theyve been doing over the last 2 games. I predict lakers will win. Damn... I hate east fans that can't be real with themselves. Do you really think any east team could beat any west team in 7 games? East best record is like 6 in the west league. Anyway, at first I thought this series is over but now I think if they win the next one. The series is pretty much over and Wolves will it. But next round they are facing spurs which they will probably lose. |

I didn't get a chance to watch the game last night, but I saw the highlights on NBATV this morning, and when I saw the score I was so pissed off, and a little bit worried, but now I'm not as worried, because they still have another home game on Sunday, and they're gonna be pissed off, so I know they're gonna play harder, and pull off three straight over Minnesota.

I am probably the biggest Laker fan at this message board and I am not the least bit concearned. As a matter of fact, I actually feel good about Thursday's loss. The Lakers played one of their worst playoff games in the last three years and still only lost by 4. The Wolves had a 9 point lead going into the 4th Quarter and despite the Lakers shooting horribly in the 4th, they still forced an Overtime session. I think Janerro Pargo did an excellent job against Troy Hudson down the stretch. Shaq did not have a normal night for him. The Lakers were in this same situation against Sacramento last season before they beat them. So as a Laker fan, I am not worried yet. But tomorrows game is a must win for the Lakers.

Well I thought that the first win was a fluke but now I actually have restored some faith in the T'Wolves. I mean if you beat the Lakers by 28 at home that's impresive, but when you beat them at LA in overtime in the playoffs then that shows that you don't want to depart in the first round. So I think that the Wolves will actually pull out the defeat of the Lakers because of one single stat: Phil Jackson has never won a series coaching when falling down 2 games to 1. He's 0-3.

EDIT: For people like masta, Phil is Phil Jackson [ April 26, 2003, 07:23 AM: Message edited by: Philly Playa ] |

I still don't think they will beat the Lakers. I know they got a huge win last night and I will credit them with that, but I think that when it comes down to it, there is no stopping Shaq and Kobe when they are healthy. The Lakers are a clutch team and like someone else said, will get better as the series goes on. I hate the Lakers just as much as anyone, but I still don't think they will be beaten. Yes, they are beatable, but I don't think it's going to happen, not this year at least...
