Tanu Weds Manu is an upcoming Hindi romantic comedy film directed by Anand L. Rai, and produced by Shailesh R Singh. It stars Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut and Jimmy Shergill in the lead roles. Tanu Weds Manu is based on the age old belief that marriages are made in heaven. It is a love story of two completely opposite people - Tanu (Kangana Ranaut) and Manu (Madhavan). The story of the film has been written by Himanshu Sharma, Music is directed by Krsna and the lyrics penned by Raj Shekhar. The film is set for release on February 25, 2011.

The soundtracks are composed by Krsna with lyrics written by Rajshekar. Upon release, the album received positive reviews from most of the critics.

Production

The film had been originally announced with Konkana Sen Sharma playing the lead role, however, after a period of stall, the film was re-announced with Kangana Ranaut replacing one character.
