KV Anand has issued a strict warning to Karthika. The director has instructed the starlet not to disclose the Ko’s storyline to the media. The warning has been issued to all the other stars including Jiiva and Ajmal, as well, but Karthika is given a stern warning because she is a newbie.

But being from a family of actors (Radha’s daughter and Ambika’s neice), the lady would sure know how to dodge questions that would reveal too much!

Hi guys,.. Reviving the thread with a sensual news that was posted a week ago...

From Mint Street to Norway

The residents of Mint Street are a delighted lot as the team of Ko, which includes Jiiva, Ajmal, Karthika and Piaa in the lead, headed by its director K V Anand, is busy shooting the climax scene of the film there. Talking about his experience shooting in a street that's bustling with activities, Jiiva says, It's a 21-day schedule and we've already shot for over 15 days. The residents have been very cooperative and give us our space. Also, we shot only during the nights so that we don't end up disturbing them. It was a high voltage action scene and stunt choreographer Peter Haien has done an awesome job. Ajmal and I have given it our best. And Prakah Raj sir, needless to say, has wowed us with his performance.

So, what's Ko about? It is the story of a journalist. Though Ko's not entirely based on a real-life incident, it's definitely inspired by our experiences. Like Shankar and Mani Ratnam's films, Ko is also larger than life, he states. On his director K V Anand and co-stars, Jiiva says, I've seen Anand's Ayan and his visualisation bowled me over. He's a director who knows what he wants for a script.

Karthika has not only inherited the looks from her mother, actress Radha, but also the talent. She has excellent grasping power. Piaa has a bubbly on-screen character and is a bundle of energy on the sets. And Ajmal has an important role in the film. He plays a positive role and is there throughout the film. Prakash Raj sir and Kotta Srinivasa Rao sir play characters with shades of negativity.

After Mint Street, the unit of Ko will be flying to Norway to can a few song sequences.. :P

KV Anand introduces new technique [25 August , 2010]

KV Anand is always willing to experiment. He is innovative and daring.The latest we hear is that Anand has used ultra speed Phantom Flex camera to shoot the non stop action scenes in Ko, featuring Jiiva, Karthika and Ajmal.

Says KV Anand : The prototype of the camera has just been introduced, so as a back-up we had the older version of the Phantom-Flex 'Phantom-Gold' ready with us. But our ultra speed camera worked just fine. It's a digital camera and we can view the shot immediately after capturing which is not possible with the other camera's because they are film cameras and we need to process the films to watch the scene.

The only other film in the world that had used similar camera for a shoot was said to be the new James Bond movie which is under production.

I ll say recent harris best is Vaaranam aayiram.....
Ayan is easily a passable ok album..instant hit ......Now its boring to hear.....
