Surya is on a winning streak.
VA,KK indeed has reached its target audience

Yes.. if we ignore Ratha charithiram

VA,KK indeed has reached its target audience But without meeting the primary objectives

better learn to be in successfull films else no use in being called mass hero/superstar yes.. like without selecting movies like Raktha charithra.

If the worry is about Ajith not delivering good films, I agree. But clubbing it with his personal views and asking him to retire is stupid.

His replies to Plum sometime back in MGR vs NT thread made me assume that.

Let us wait and see in the future without any speculation and over confidence.

If you don't like his movie selections, you can ignore them and have a saint like life. And you can go on watching fools who declined Mudhalvan and those who supplied Perarasu movie DVDs to Yohan director.
No difference.

As per Preetham, Surya should have never acted in movies like Aaru, Singham etc. How Hari is different from Shiva? Both are one and the same. What would he say if this movie becomes a hit? Will he justify it that it had "reached the intended" audience and is fine as long as Ajith is on a winning streak.

Ajith fans expressing their views here are worried about the quality of the directors and the type of movies that they have delivered. Ofcourse, success matters. But success along with basic elements is what we prefer.
Watch out for Singam 2 soon with hockey sticks in his face.

BTB, Most of the Ajith fans are echoing Freedom/Kalyan's views right from the day this thread was created. I can understand if Preetham was worried to see Ajith fans "in favor of this".

Personally I am happy that he is acting under this production. They will show Nam Naadu MGR initially. Goosebumps expected and would be awesome to see Thala's name after that. No comments on the director. Yes.. it is not a good choice. But hoping that he will deliver a mass masala

do pour out your frustrations here... Ajith will and does listen

dont just condemn, also suggest what kind of movies do you want him to make...
Just would like to reiterate what we should ideally be doing in this thread as suggested by NOV here

That was for your retirement post.

His primary interest is racing. Had he been given the right platform and support, he would have excelled in that. But his fate was to be in film industry. He is trying hard to fit that as a secondary interest while still recollecting his primary ambition.

Choice of words does matter. Using words like fool just because you don't agree with personal views itself sounds foolish.
