I just acquired My Magic, a Singaporean movie that is partially in Tamil and got pretty good reviews: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1233329/

A couple of years ago, I saw a Malaysian one called Andal, about a prostitute mistreated by a guy with blond streaks in his hair. It was pretty bad.

I know there have been a few from Canada, including Red Winter, which has this memorable song ... I like to think that it is meant to be satirical,
