The only way to reduce is the piracy is to follow what Kamal had said in the past.. Padam release aayi 30 naal-a official DVD release pannaa .. This is possible. Atleast the movie bees like us will wait for the original copy to come out of the producers themselves.

As of piracy, cant help it.. we cant go watch a "aindham padai" in the theatre as we have no option of forwarding the songs/fights/sentiments .. so kadaisiyila irukira konja nanja comedyki thaan padam paakarom

I wouldnt say it is impossible.. but I am just saying it is not possible at all ... say, if we want to watch PKS or Pannchathanthiram, are we seeing the original version that was released by the producers ? Nooo.. we would have bought them from Pondi or Burma Bazz..

So as far as the piracy is concerned, basement-ae romba weakaa iruku .. First let them come with the practice of releasing their original version of DVD. If the producers get enough money out of the movies that they release by any means, I say, they will not be bothered about the pirated version and will avoid words like " kuthu kuthunu kuthanum kuthanum" nu

This is what happens in western.. they have torrents, online versions even for the movies which are released couple of days back but there is always a high percentage of people who tend to buy the non pirated versions.
