Hi guys! thx for the welcome...my friend forwarded me the blog URL saying " machan! soopera kalaikiranungo"..i found interesting and just knew joe only here a great critic... dont worry about offencing..this is a hyde park..go ahead..in fact i feel relaxed visiting this...i can also give deep insight on the truth behind every activity in Kollywood...beleiving is your choice!!!!

thanks for the concern...when i relocated from singapore 2004, i invested in real estate & construction( part) anotherpart ( my wife started a play/after care in OMR ) then 3rd part in films...1st film uyir with my brother R.Balaji ( as i told he is Dir Shankar's cobrother & now looking after S pictures )...
so i have advisors around..after Uyir , balaji went back to S pictues..i continued with constructions..all were going smooth... My experience with Sami forced me to think on directing ... "pettaRasu" is an experimnet in a HD camera with less than 50 lakhs ( normal celluloid movies will take 2 C to produce excluding artist salary )..thought even for teh experiment i can recoup this 50L ( thru satelite channels, overseas, local exploitation ) & ya..no regrets.. now, learnt howto do the best in HD ( more lighting, location, atmosphere, costumese ) & hence "pacha Pulla" for budger of 1.1 C.. this time not infront of camera as this is not exp but commercial... 3 hits in 3 years...its just a set point & i know its not possible..as you said, let us do this well , if it is really good, it will be received well... thats wat i am trying..in fact, i am going toi share with you all from day 1 of te story line development & freezing... "OC la idea kedacha utturuvama"? Saravana, frankly speaking, ur posts seem more sensible than ur movie. Nenachadha vida nallave dhaan pesureenga. |

. I wish you gave a good set of advisors around u if you r investing in such a risky business. You might be capable of giving a real good movie.

"Shooting Starts today" nu ella dailies'lyum ad kodunga... oru masam kazhichu "Shooting in progress"nu kodunga... Sun TV'la trailer Ottunga...  Marketing plays a vital role //yEdho ennoda 2 cents'a kodukkanum'nu thonichu...

dont worry!! go ahead and with kindals...all the kindals are your I.Ps...i am getting them free of cost...you guys have every right to criticize any media product as you spend money & time .. ( hopefully not "thiruttu DVD" watch )... i will be only pleased to receive emails from you guys..so it becomes solicited now...as you said, i am coming to know a lot here..also amazed at the speed at which you guys collect info...

with pleasure..ya..not a bad story for the experiment....if this story hs to brought to the screen, imagine the money needed...but i had to do in a budget less than 50 L... if you shoot in film , min you need 2 C...happy reading A Chennai slum and temple-- grandmother (who missed her younger son ‘rasu” for 20 years)lives with her grand daughter/ flower seller Thamarai- struggles life to get Thamarai ( who wants to marry an educated man ) married- next door Comedian spending his odd job earnings on drinks and borrowing money from neighbourhood ( seith, nair, Gurukkal, boi, etc )on the promise that he will go to foreign, earn and return all money, making comedy all the way--- Villain having factories with child labour also foreign labour supply agent---calls comedian asks 2 lakhs to send to foreign with a promise of high pay---comedian borrows from community pays villain goes to foreign but cheated by villain’s counterpart in foreign asking to work for lowest pay, comedian fights ends up in foreign prison on 3 months jail term… Comedian drops letterfrom foreign to grandmother and Thamarai and all other charecters in slum that he returns to india as he found “rasu” son of grandmother and promising to return all the borrowings along with Rasu by working hard…Comedian & rasu return and as they arrive in Airport, Villain gang chases Rasu to kill..teh audience wonder why?—a fight and Rasu wins and could have done great damage but Comedian controls Rasu , pacifies and brings to slum as a hide out…Villain group searches Rasu in his original suburb and all over Chennai to finish him..but audience wonder why? In the slum, the grandmother is happy as Rasu returns and the comedy, centiment, etc etc starts....Thamarai starts falling in love with Rasu who has a different mission…except the comedian, everyone ( including audience ) thinks that Rasu is real…but Rasu in the day time behaves as Rasu but in the nights escapes the slum with adventurous fights and with a mission of fighting the villain for a great noble cause…comedian always reminds Rasu not to take revenge because if the revenge is taken and rasu goes to jail, a great mission for the slum people of might not be accomplished…Rasu is in turbulence… Thamarai’s love grows for Rasu ..song…Local Ghana songs etc.,..suddenly 4 boys come to the slum from different place for asylum…as all the slum people are against it, Rasu supports them and make them to stay with him.. No one knows except Comdian that the 4 boys are helping Rasu to accomplish his mission..however, comedian still advises Rasu & boys not to revenge ..so everytime, the Rasu team goes out for fight, t Rasu buys drinks and gives his share also to comedian to make him down..and then goes out.. The villain gang smells the hide out of Rasu and try to destroy the entire slum but a big fight ..now every one knows Rasu is not rasu…Flash back… Rasu is not Rasu ..his name is “Arvind” a computer Engineer hailing from the slums of other town…when arvind was young ,his father and the other slum people work for a mill…very hard work but low pay…arvind’s father notices in the mill that well computer educated youth sitting in A/C earning 10 times their wages..he tells his fellow workers and ask them to make their children to study computer..the fellow workers thinks that computers will cause their jobs to loose and accuses arvind’s father of supporting factory owner..and in quarrel they kill arvind’s father…during death arvind’s father still promises that arvind will become computer engineer and guide all the slum children for a great future and dies… Factory owner helps arvind’s mother with some gratuity , a big land and house and helps Arvind to study..arvind becomes computer engineer…he says his mother tthat he wants to full fill father’s promise… He gathers slum children to teach them computer and guides them…Villain looses child labours & hence wants to threat Arvind to stop…He threatens the parents of children..so the children & parents afraid… arvind seeks the help of advocate who advises arvind to build a high facility computer institute with govt approval so that Villain may not interfear..but building cost is 1 crore & to ean that arvind has to go to foreign and work for 2 years ..with earned money he can start the institiute…But villain knows arvind’s plans..he pretends as friend and sends arvind to foreign promising 2 lakh salary per month…but traps him in foreign prison…also when arvind is in foreign, Villain gets the land documents ( as the Hyderabad property appreciated into crores )from mother and kills her…the 4 boys who came to slum are arvind’s students , they convey the message to foreign and also the news that Villain will kill Arvind once he lands india… In the prison, comedian hears the story, understands the real good wish of aravind and gives the idea and asks aravind to pretend as ‘rasu” to escape villain’s eyes until the good mission is completed… After flash back, still thamarai loves aravind ( now she knows he is educated too ), finally a climax fight and the villain is about to be killed by hero after a huge fight finally Rasu is about to kill the villain but the 4 boys kill Villain …paving way for Rasu to complete his mission ………. sourav, |
