“ERAAA” talks seemingly outside normal sensory channels, termed as Paranormal - something believed to have no accordance with scientific laws. ‘Eraaa’ in ancient Thamizh means “Night”. Spirits and ghosts are believed to have a close kinship with Night. Based on this concept ERAA has been penned with a completely new dimension by Shankar Bros.
Without using daggers, blood, gory faces, computer graphics, hero, heroine, songs, fights, double meaning dialogues, Eraaa still makes the chillness run through your spines without the usual cinema formula. All the technicians who have worked in this venture are debuts / first timers. This films special feature is that the film is shot with a character’s viewpoint. This makes the viewer to become the character himself and experience what all the character has gone through PLOT ------- There has not been much of concrete evidence existing today to prove the existence of ghosts and spirits. Nakulan Ponnusamy (aka) Nakul, a paranormal investigator, goes in search of such evidence. Believed to be haunted, the unoccupied house of a leading Industrialist in Munnar was chosen to be a subject of study by Nakul. After a complete night’s stay for his primal investigations, Nakul was found dead under mysterious circumstances. The mysterious death being investigated by a lady by name Daisy, a TV reporter forms the rest of the story. The public belief on spirits and ghosts has been analyzed. CREW ------- Artistic hand of Satish G has handled the camera for this venture; while music is scored by K. Venkat Prabu Shankar, editing has been managed by Hari Shankar. Story, screenplay and direction have been cared by Harishankar, Hareesh Narayan and Krishna Sekhar. For the first time in Thamizh cinema industry, a movie direction has been handled by three. |

i happened to visit the house where the filming was done ... in Munnar .... the whole place was just so silent ... i was infact scared ... i went near the house and tried to peep thru an open window ... couldnt fine anything - but felt that place creepy ... was reluctant to go inside though it was broad daylight ... took some snaps of the place ... when i was about to leave - happ to meet with a group of Government officials from the local panchayat board - who had come to that place to look if somebody is staying out of it ... (this place was abandoned so long a time back and i donno why suddenly there was a team inspecting the house that day ... - creepy though) ... managed to keep my video camera ON and recorded our conversation ... i asked them about the history of that place ... they showed me a resort on top of the hill where it was reportedly said to have witnessed the suicide/death of a lady - due to some effect from this house .... the resort was sealed by the Government last year ....
idellam vidunga sir .... seri ok kilambalaam nnu drive panni poikittu irukkum podhu enga car brake failure Ana kadhai gave us a creepy shock ....somehow we managed to be ok - coz we were slowly taking a turn when the driver realized ..... shaks ... sema tension aayiduchu ... |
