When comparing to comedians Vadivelu & Vivek with Rajini respectively CM & Sivaji. I didn't like Vadivelu's perfomance in CM and I liked Vivek in Sivaji (based on TV clippings). I think one of worst performance of Vaigaipuyal was CM. I wonder how it clicked?

That was Trash I dont think it clicked. I watched the movie in the theatre and hardly heard any one laughing for RK-VV comedy. AppappO oruthar rendu pEr sirichaanga.. avvaLavuthAn. I dont know if it clicked in TN It clicked to some extend. Esp, the "Maappu, Vachuttanda aappu" line became famous enough to be set as a ringtone in mobile phones..

Santhanam was Simbu's class mate in the film Manmadhan. Sathyan was the constable assisting Atul Kulkarni in the same film. Hope u have seen the film...

Thanks CR, RD and Ajay Now I am clear. I have not seen any Simbu movies so I dont know much about Sandhanam's movies - though I see lollu sabha on and off. I have felt Sathyan to be very talented in comedy department. He was very good in Mayavi and in some other movies too.

He appeared in SUN TV's 'nadithathil pidithathu' program on Saturday and I learnt that he is the son of Madampatti Sivakumar. He also said that actor Sivakumar is a family friend. So he might be related to Sathyaraj I guess

Sathyan's most famous film was Devadaiyai Kanden, *ing Dhanush, Karunas, Mayilsami and Satyan. Hope you have seen songs from the same film especially a funny song "Maama Paiya".

To me Sathyan is good. He did well in Mayavi and it was a very good role. His timing was perfect and he was good in "gunachitram' also. He did a good job in Thirupathy and Gajini too ( a very short role in Gajini but done well) And I think he is there in Kreedom with Vivek.
