I liked only "Kanavellam", "Vizhiyil", and "Akkam Pakkam" (relatively) among his numbers. "Oram Po" pattu edhuvume nyabagam illa Eq (manasula nikkala).. and about Veyyil, the less said the better

Upd: Ok, now i remember a song from Oram Po which goes like "Kozhi kaalu rendu..." or something... hated the song for exactly the same reason i hated "Veyyilodu"...

Bala,
I've listened to only a few of his albums, but I really like "kAdhal neruppin" (especially because of the superb vocals; Karthik is awesome here), "kanavellAm" (kireedam; again Jayachandran is at his vintage best in a song set to a tune and rhythm that's anything but vintage), and "idhu enna mAyam" (now, I wonder if it's just a coincidence, but this is another song that's so beautifully rendered; Shankar Mahadevan takes the honours here, Alka Yagnik is impressive too if one's ready to overlook her Tamil; poetter Na. Muthukumar is in fine form too).

I don't think i've listened to this song.. will seck out

Overall, ivaru perusa onnum pannidala.. and doesn't hold much promise too, IMO

P.S: You were strongly recommending a Yuvan song sometime back.. was it the double chimpu song from Manmadhan?

Yes. "vAnamunnA" from 'manmadhan'. (And I strongly urged you to listen to that song. I've hardly heard people talk about that song, hence the flag-bearing.) It's a good folk number actually. More than anything else, I think the prelude is something special. But for some delightful turns, the tune is largely typical (a popular folk tune is also reworked in the interludes, I think), but the arrangements and those little things that Yuvan adds to the song make the difference. And also the zestful singing (Shankar Mahadevan, Sriram Parthasarathy).

Joe,
Sorry, I'm out.

Good one. But the other songs in manmadhan audio make it somewhat look ordinary. Would have been a great hit with a mass hero. Sila idangalil lyrics positive feel oda varum..

Last year I saw Khosla Ka Ghosla [thanks to subtitle] in a flight.
It was interesting and humorous and won a national award.
British Airways?
Even I saw it in a flight. Thought will re-watch it again, but completely forgot about it.

New entrant Poi Solla Porom unexpectedly took a fantastic opening, collecting Rs 13.42 lakh in Chennai from six small screens, and nabbing the number two spot. It proves that there is an audience for multiplex films.

Poi Solla Porom
Karthik Kumar, Preethi, Nedumudi Venu, Mouli, Nazer, Delhi Ganesh
Cast: Karthik Kumar, Preethi, Nedumudi Venu, Mouli, Nazer, Delhi Ganesh
Director: Vijay

+'s ---Feel-good entertainer
-'s ---Nothing really

BO verdict : Good opening

One more good director introduced by Ajith to Tamizh cinema

Saw PSP @ INOX today noon.
One more enjoyable movie. Serious plot la comedy well handled like in Saroja.
A big gang gang of actors, everyone doing their role with easy.

Starting scene Today's problem mixed with today's men attitude.
Director deserves a big
Songs comes with story. onnum uruthalaa illa. Inimae thaan CD ls kaetkanum

Light comedy. There are several moments to enjoy.

I think those who enjoyed Saroja (the movie )can enjoy PSP as well
