When I started this thread, I didnt mean to have just 'Punch dialogues' - which are by definition, usually spoken by the hero to define his character.
I am talking about truly great one-liners in movies that could come from anyone in the movie. For example, Nagesh in Nammavar: "Avalukku thalai valikkum, yaaraavathu oru thalagaani kondu vaangappa" when sitting in front of his dead daughter. That is a one-liner that can shake people. And it is certainly not a punch dialogue... Hope that clarifies what I was hoping for... |
