Wedding Bells!

Laila is getting married to Mehdi, an Iranian businessman with whom she was going steady for the last eight years.
She told Moviebuzz, "It started on friendship but later turned into love. We have been engaged for last 3 years, and were waiting for the right time. My family is also so happy and we are all looking forward to the Jan 6 wedding. I don’t want to reveal the venue in Mumbai, as it is a private affair with a handful of my close friends from industry attending it”. Mehdi is Mumbai based and he had gifted Laila a diamond set as wedding present, while she has brought him a Tag Heur watch!

Laila had flown to New York to shop for her wedding dress, which is a top designer label. She will be wearing diamond jewellery for the big day. Adds Laila: “I have not decided to continue my acting career as Mehdi is already paranoid about all the media attention that he is getting”.
