All about Vikram's hugely expected movie Bheema directed by Linguswamy, produced by A.M.Rathnam with music by Harris Jeyaraj

Bheema (Tamil: பீமா)is a forthcoming film to be directed by N. Linguswamy. It stars Vikram, Trisha Krishnan and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. The movie will also be dubbed in Telugu. The film's score and soundtrack will be composed by Harris Jayaraj with lyrics by renowned poet, Vairamuthu. Cinematography for the movie is handled by R.D. Rajasekhar while editing is being handled by A. Sreekar Prasad. The movie has been said to be about life in the underworld. Shooting for the film began on the 24th of April, 2006 at various locations in India. The film was slated for a Pongal/Sankranthi 2007 release, but it has been pushed back to May 11, 2007.

This is the second time Vikram has been paired opposite Trisha. Their last film together, Saamy was a tremendous hit.
Katrina Kaif was considered for the role of the leading lady of this film.
Nana Patekar walked out of the project after originally being picked.
The title of this film was taken from the name of the heroic warrior Bhima, a character from The Mahabharata.
Vikram has called upon the services of former Mr Tamil Nadu Rajendran to help him in his training to look more the part for Bheema
