Nilam Bharadwaj (18 yrs) the upcoming TV Actress died (Sept 7) after her autorickshaw was hit by a Honda city at Juhu in the westen suburbs. She was rushed to the nearby Cooper hospital but was declared dead on arrival, police said. Known as Niral among her friends, she was working in two serials, 'Mata ki Chowki' and 'Shani dev'. Nilam is the daughter of former personal secretary of a senior BJP leader.

The police arrested the 23-year-old car driver Parvesh Ramchander Parkar, a resident of Malad.

Police said the girl hailed from Bhopal and had come here tp work in the film industry. She stayed as a paying guest at Lokhandwala.
